A Year Ago

Hard to believe it has been a year! Still haven't seen all the photos, or processed the experiences. Can one hire someone for that?

Bagdogra to Darjeeling

A fantasmagoric, Disneyland Ride through West Bengal, but really the beginning of Gorkaland, through the people and the animals up the hills to the most famous of all Raj "Hill Stations."

First Pershumba Sherpa met us and presented each of us with Kata:

Then we are whisked through customs and the sherpas pack the vehicles:

Then it is off into West Bengal, towards Darjeeling …
